About

I am an artist living and working in the Amber Valley in Derbyshire. I love to create things and have been making, painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I love stories and myths. A lot of my work is inspired by them as well as being heavily influenced by medieval and Celtic art.

I work mainly in porcelain clay, making models by hand. Porcelain is a tricky clay which doesn’t always behave how you would like it to, but the end of using this delicate clay are worth it.  I also make items using slip casting but putting my own unique stamp on the process.

I have a BA in Design: Crafts from Staffordshire University and an MA in Visual Communications from the University of Derby.
